INTEGRATIVE IMMERSION THERAPY
After volunteering with our Veteran’s through Vet TRIIP, Kathleen was able to experience firsthand the role Integrative Therapy serves in the treatment of those suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety, depression, chronic pain and other related symptoms. There have been several documented studies, as well as randomized controlled trials, which measure PTSD and other mental health symptoms in the same veterans before and after Integrative Therapies. The results show a clinically significant reduction (50-100%) in PTSD in the Veterans after a series of EFT, used alone or in combination with, other Integrative Therapies. Based on the results and her personal experiences with Vet TRIIP, Kathleen decided she wanted to continue to offer these services to help our Vet’s return to health and live happy and productive civilian lives.
Integrative Immersion Therapy uses a combination of many modalities and techniques specifically developed for the treatment of trauma and other related symptoms. No two sessions are alike, as they are guided by what the practitioner feels is best suited, at that time, to the needs of the patient. Typical sessions will use a combination of Energy Medicine and/or Reiki, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to bring about deep change. In addition, Acupressure, Muscle Testing, Music Therapy and Aromatherapy may be incorporated into the session. A tapping sequence will be taught, and some simple exercises may be prescribed to be done daily at home, to encourage lasting results.
The client is informed of each technique being used during their session. There will be no participation in any technique or modality in which the client does not feel comfortable. Communication between the practitioner and client is very important and established prior to the start of the session. Either the client or the practitioner may at any time, stop or terminate the session if needed.
Integrative Immersion Therapy complements conventional and psychological therapies. It is also sought out by Veteran’s seeking to work through issues at a faster and more in-depth pace; as well as those considering possible alternative therapies to medication.
* Discounts offered for the military, law enforcement, & firefighters.
*Integrative Medicine or any other healing modalities used are not intended to diagnose or replace conventional medical or psychological treatment.
